How to Hide Whatsapp Images and Videos from Gallery

A media folder containing a text file named .nomedia will automatically skipped by android gallery.
 To create a text file download an app named ES file explorer. Browse to whatsapp media folder.
 Then create a text file named .nomedia using top right menu. Thats all whatsapp images or videos will no longer shows in the gallery.

This technique can be used to any other media folders. Delete .nomedia file to again see these media in the gallery.
